now, you guys all know i’m dorky. but until now, i don’t think anyone really fully grasped the entire breadth and width, the grand scope and great magnitude of my nerd-ocrity. the dork river runs deep, my Friends. very deep.

you are looking at, or rather reading….from(?), the only girl in the entire world who would voluntarily spend her birthday at the planetarium watching listening to Morgan Freeman tell them about the freakin’ cosmos. you’d never know it from Driving Miss Daisy, but ol’ Morgie can tell you a thing or two about sub-atomic particles. (or is that “particli?”)

yeah, i also brought a poster of the periodic table of elements from the gift shop.
it was down between that or an ant farm.

i was a kick-ass birthday, all and all. The Wonton Delight was delightful! Elowsky and i drank Whiskey and Water out of bucket glasses had a hoe-down in the living room, banging on our guitars and screeching Hank Williams Songs and Johnny Cash songs until the wee small hours of the night. i thought my vocal cords were going to burst.

i’ve been without the internet for close to three weeks now. and during that time i had a million and two exciting things to tell all my little journal adventurers, but now that i’m back on-line, i got nothing.

Except —
tomorrow is my birthday! now, you may think its too late to send presents, but let me be the judge of that. uh………its not. too late, i mean. give me things! you see, your monetary donations are the only thing that will help me to take my mind off how my body is becoming ancient and decrepit and that my cells and tissues will fail and eventually begin to fall apart around me. you have no choice: my sanity depends on
